Inside the PbS QDs/Bi2O2Se hybrid photodetector, when PbS quantum dots, acting as energy donors, are photoexcited to an energized condition, they are able to transfer their Vitality non-radiatively to Bi2O2Se through dipole–dipole interactions. This results in electrons while in the valence band of Bi2O2Se to transition for the conduction band. I
